“And that man will have nothing except what he strives for.”

Qur’an 53:39

In Islam, we are rewarded by our intention even when the outcome never materializes.

Our obligation is to try. The results belong to Allah.

The One Ummah Foundation exists to build a unified, self-sustaining future for Muslims in the United States by creating the largest community-driven waqf of its kind. Our mission is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: when Muslims support one another with sincerity, discipline, and shared purpose, we unlock a level of strength, dignity, and long-term resilience that no single institution could ever achieve alone.

Our work begins with connection. For generations, Muslims in America have arrived from every corner of the world, each community building its own masjid, school, and support network. These efforts were heroic, often carried by immigrants focused on survival while protecting their faith and families. But this fragmented structure has left us without a unified long-term financial backbone—despite our collective wealth and growing population. The One Ummah Foundation was created to change that by turning millions of small contributions, strategic philanthropy, and intentional long-term planning into a nationwide waqf serving all Muslims, regardless of sect, ethnicity, or background.

Our approach is both spiritual and strategic. Waqf is not a modern invention; it is a prophetic legacy. From the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), waqf allowed communities to build schools, support families, uplift the poor, and ensure that faith-centered institutions outlived their founders. We revive this tradition with a 21st-century structure—transparent, professionally managed, and designed to scale over generations. Every dollar given becomes part of a compounding legacy that provides permanent benefit to future Muslims.

The Foundation focuses on four essential pillars: interest-free educational support, Islamic school sustainability, mentorship and leadership development, and national-scale community initiatives that strengthen the fabric of Muslim life in America. Our flagship “One Dollar Campaign” empowers every Muslim to participate, creating a sense of shared ownership and unity while building a substantial financial engine for the future. As the endowment grows, we expand into high-impact philanthropy, major donor engagement, and long-horizon estate giving that helps anchor the community’s long-term prosperity.

Above all, we are guided by the belief that Muslims in America—whether deeply engaged or marginally connected—deserve a national foundation that represents them, supports them, and unites them. A hafiz in New York, a convert in rural America, a physician in Michigan, a refugee family in Texas—each one becomes part of the same circle of giving, strength, and shared destiny.

Our goal is generational: a $50 billion waqf by the end of the century, ensuring that the Muslims of 2100 inherit stability, opportunity, and institutions worthy of the faith we love. We may not live to see the full results, but our intention, our foundation, and our collective effort will speak for us long after we are gone.

This is the future we are building—one ummah, one vision, one legacy.
